We are looking for an experienced DC Winder to join us in a full-time, permanent role.
The job:
Working within a small team:
Detailing, stripping and rewinding of Bar Wound Armature / Stator electrical motor windings.
Connecting and testing of Bar Wound Armature / Stator electrical motor windings.
Detailing, stripping, rewinding, reconnection and testing of AC/DC motor windings.
Voltage/frequency changes.
Correct use of burnout techniques.
Correct use of impregnation and stoving methods.
Completing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
About you:
Must be experienced in this type of work with specific experience of winding Bar Wound Armatures.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work within a team.
Will have own duties so must be self-motivated, able to manage and prioritise your own workload, manage your own time effectively, and will be expected to work with minimal supervision.
Must be literate and numerate and able to complete paperwork accurately.

You will be working for an employer who treats you as an employee rather than a number, with a friendly support network.
- Monday to Thursday 08.00am to 16.30pm.
- Friday 08.00am to 15.45pm.
Full company uniform, and all necessary safety equipment.
25 days’ holiday per year plus all statutory holidays.
