Thermographic Surveys

Condition Monitoring & Diagnostics

Infrared inspection to detect faults early and reduce unplanned downtime, identifying gearbox wear, predictive bearing failure, and electrical faults before they cause a breakdown.

What is thermography

As an object gets hotter it emits more radiation in the infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Using an infrared camera, our engineers can measure the temperature of an object without contact, a technique known as infrared thermography. This gives a complete health check on gearboxes, motors, and electrical cabinets, enabling planned outages and repairs carried out over a weekend or during scheduled downtime, rather than as an emergency.

What it detects

Why trending matters

It is important to trend the size and shape of anomalies over time. Historical data helps identify a change in pattern, which enables you to establish a rate of possible deterioration, rather than reacting to a single reading in isolation.
