Lift Machine Mechanical Repair

Lift Machine Repair

Mechanical repair and refurbishment of lift machines including brakes, bearings, and drive components, with root-cause analysis on every job to help reduce repeat failures and callouts.

OVERVIEW

We offer a full inspection and repair service for motors across the lift industry, from fan motors and oil coolers to main lifting machines. Our engineers are specialists in motor failure diagnosis and repair, and can advise where a system is falling short, including lift machines with obsolete or long-unavailable components.

OUR PROCESS

We start with a site survey to confirm the scope and the rope or belt specification. From there, our in-house certified guide grip system and NVQ Level 3 scaffolder design and build any required access, all handled internally. Re-roping or re-belting is then carried out by professional re-ropers and NVQ Level 3 lift engineers. The whole job is covered by one quotation, so there is no need to arrange third-party access separately.

MORE ABOUT IT

WHERE THE WORK HAPPENS

Carried out on site wherever practical. Where a machine isn't suitable for on-site repair, parts are dismantled and removed to our workshop, then returned to site for re-assembly. We operate a self-contained machine shop, rewinding shop, and drive testing and diagnosis facility, giving us the capability to handle rewinds, diagnostics, and repair entirely in-house.
