When we got the call from a local hotel to help bring back to life there irrigation system on their golf course we jumped at the chance to showcase our expertise.
The irrigation system had not worked for quite some time but of course winter months it isn’t really a problem. Now with summer on the horizon and the course expecting plenty rounds of golf to be played, it was time for EES to step up.
Getting them out was the easy part but when the client rings for help as we are expecting a heatwave it was all systems to go to ensure the system was up and running and the greens were kept to standard.
The pump pressurisation unit was a pump down, tired and in need of restoration. Having pump experts we knew exactly what would need to be done to bring this kit back to life. Along with this was the two submersible pumps sat in the pond that also didn’t work.
The Corrosion and lack of servicing had taken its toll, water ingress had started to happen and there was no way these could be repaired successfully.
We identified the two Submersible units, fully overhauled the pressurisation units and also give the panels a once over.
Control panel fully inspected, cleaned and tested from EES Engineers.
High pressure Grundfos multistage pumps overhauled and re installed, Pressure vessel re charged and set to the desired pressure.
Finally up and running just in time for the hottest day this year the system returned to its full glory.
Quite a satisfying end to the repair process made enjoyable by the weather and surroundings
