EES Group Holdings was founded in 2009 as Elevated Engineering Services NW LTD, delivering electro-mechanical and vertical transportation engineering services from our base in Middleton, Manchester.
Over 17 years the business built a reputation as a trusted engineering partner across the North West and beyond: completing hundreds of suspension rope and belt changes, overhauling industrial motors, pumps, and gearboxes, and becoming an approved supplier to Stannah Lift Services and Schindler Ltd UK.
What John Mellors started 17 years ago was built to deliver high-quality, professional engineering support across rotating machinery in the Northern Counties of England. Over the years, the client base grew to include major blue-chip lift companies both locally and nationally, alongside leading industrial and manufacturing businesses.
In February 2026, the business rebranded as EES Group Holdings Limited, establishing two operating subsidiaries: EES Vertical Transportation Engineering Support Ltd and EES Electro-Mechanical Engineering Services Ltd.
EES Group Holdings carries that reputation forward under a refreshed leadership structure. The values and standards that defined our founding remain at the core of everything we do and the team that delivers them continues to grow.

EES Group Holdings is an appointed stockist of Crompton Greaves Electric Motors. We hold stock of standard frame sizes and can source specialist frames to specification.

Simon joined Elevated Engineering Services in 2015 as Finance Manager, progressing to Finance Director in 2022 with responsibility for operations across the business. As part of the 2026 restructure into EES Group Holdings Limited, Simon takes on the role of Managing Director, leading the group across both operating subsidiaries.

Mark is the Operations Manager at EES Group Holdings, overseeing the repair of rotating machinery with specialisms across motors, pumps, and gearboxes, as well as all aspects of site work including facilities management.
Julie has been with EES since May 2017, managing day-to-day workshop operations with over 12 years of experience in the engineering services sector. She is the central point of coordination for workshop scheduling, client communication, and operational administration.
